Hot summer in Europe continues, but is not as hot as it used to be. Vladimir Putin de-escalated his messages on nuclear weapons, and his focus on this matter had its reasons. Before the peace summit in Switzerland, initiated by Ukraine, he declined the chance for nuclear war saying that Moscow is far superior to the "enemy" even without nuclear weapons, so "we don't need to think about this topic." "But I still proceed from the fact that it will never come to this (nuclear weapons), and we have no such need," Vladimir Putin summarized. Did Putin really give up his nuclear threats/plans and how is this possible?
