Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Crackdown or Political Purge?
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Prosecutor General’s Office have launched a sweeping operation targeting the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), Western-backed anti-corruption agency, conducting approximately 80 searches across the country to “neutralize Russian influence” within the agency. The operation, which includes allegations of treason, illegal trade with Russia, and corruption, has raised serious questions about the motives and methods of Ukraine’s authorities.
