WHO IS MISTER YERMAK, ZELENSKYY’S BEST BUDDY AND CHIEF OF STAFF, AND DOES HE HAVE POLITICAL AMBITIONS?

I am going to tell you something that no one knows. As a political insider I had worked with Andrii Yermak for 2 years in the Office of President Zelenskyy. The Washington Post, Time, and Bloomberg all have written pieces regarding concerns about the rising influence of Andrii Yermak. And they have all the reasons for this. Today, he is the one responsible for almost every single decision in the country. Yermak controls the judiciary and law enforcement, has influence over both the military and the government, his name is behind every initiative coming out from the Office of the President. In five years, he won multiple political games, getting rid of all the people who were close to President Zelenskyy, and even those who built Zelenskyy's businesses and had known the president for 30-40 years. Yermak has now replaced the entire team–who brought Zelenskyy to power, becoming the only source of information for the president. He is consolidating his power every month and there is not a single area in the country that he does not have a strong influence on. It was Yermak who had conducted the peace talks with Russia before the full-scale invasion, and who had convinced Zelenskyy that Ukraine should not expect a new attack. Despite this existential mistake, Zelenskyy still calls him effective and defends him at every press conference. Is there really anything to worry about?
