WHY DID RUSSIA ATTACK ON FEBRUARY 24?

For several months before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, American intelligence agencies shared details about the upcoming attack. Different dates of the attack were mentioned, the latest being February 16, 2022. But then the 16th came, but no, the Russians did not start anything. American journalists were somewhat disappointed and looking for extra information. How much longer do they have to wait and will there really be an attack? It seemed that the Russians had everyone fooled. But the date of February 24 came, and Russia attacked from the East, South and North with tanks moving to Kyiv and missiles exploding around Ukraine. This date actually had an explanation. Both symbolic and practical. Why did Russia attack on that day?
